Dog Training Made Easy

My dog, a Havanese,  three-years-old and we are almost done with training.

If I’m working and she tosses a ball, sometimes I whine, but within moments, I fetch and bring it back to her. We used to jog  together—a slow ramble—but she prefers sprinting up hills, over and over again. So today there was a little tussle back and forth, I was pulling towards the jogging route, she towards a hill. We ran the hills, of course. Then we played with a maltese mix and a boxer.

When she cries at dinner, that means she wants a piece of meat.  Not bread. She won’t eat plain bread unless it has cream cheese. I’ve learned that too.

So far I can handle this. If I start peeing on fire hydrants,I’ll know the training went too far.

Ellie's tiny sweet appearance belies a tough taskmaster
